Being an aunt is the best thing ever. I can buy completely the most impractical items for my nieces and nephew. You get to spoil them and you get to be the coolest person in the world…in their eyes anyway.
There’s something about sitting around in cute little ruffled frocks and imagining the company of good friends and sweet food. The tea party is such a popular role/playing game that many of us amused ourselves with for a good part of our childhood. I know I did…or still do.
I love collecting teacups and dinnerwares. I have had wonderful luck finding tea cups at thrift stores and antique shops.
