My parents, my brother and his 3 year old son came over the weekend for a short vacation. What better way to welcome my nephew than good old milk and cookies.
Today, I crazily baked the day away. I baked Anne Burrell’s focaccia recipe which turned out great. I made the mistake of buying an instant active dry yeast when the recipe called for an active dry yeast. I spent half the day looking for that yeast but sadly there was none.

If you’re looking for a quick and easy solution to entertaining, consider this appetizer. It’s the ultimate finger food, requiring no forks, only napkins and plenty of good taste. After all, they’re called appetizers for a good reason. I hate to admit it but this is not my recipe.
I have been craving for Gino’s Brick Oven Pizza’s Burrata, salty egg pasta and SMEG pizza! I have been thinking about it for days. LOL. I just find the place a wee bit far from my house. I’ll give my craving a few more hours and if it’s still there, I’ll brave the traffic to… Continue reading Gino’s Brick Oven Pizza
