On New Year’s Day, our entire family decided to check in at the newly built resort near our house in Ilocos Sur. Vitalis Villas is a beautiful Santorini-inspired resort. The  Greek-style villas are perched on a mountain cliff, overlooking the beautiful Santiago cove.

It’s only a 20 minute drive away from the city of Candon but if you will be coming all the way from Manila, it is a six hour and 20 minute drive. The long travel might be exhausting but it will be worth it the moment you see the amenities the resort can offer.

 

 

 

 

I did not make any reservations but I called in advance to make sure they have available villas. Upon check-in, a golf cart is waiting to take you and your bags to your villa. We stayed in a 2-bedroom villa with a private Jacuzzi which is very spacious and could house 10 people comfortably.

The villa is fully equipped with amenities such as 40-inch LED TV, Mini Refrigerator, CBTL™ Contata Coffee and Tea Machine, Wi-Fi, cooking utensils and plenty more. Our stay also comes with a delicious buffet of full-board meals.

 

 

Have you always dreamed of having a beautiful wedding by the beach? Here at Vitalis Resort, they have a beautiful church that can hold the most romantic weddings. There are many places on the grounds that will make beautiful backdrops for your wedding memories. You can also just visit anytime to pray and give thanks to the One above.

 

 

 

My nieces and nephew also enjoyed a visit to their mini zoo. There you can find donkeys, camels, goats, horses and ponies. While we were enjoying feeding the animals, my husband and my brother went zip lining.

Located at the other end of the cove which is also a sister company of Vitalis Villas, is the Vitalis Resort and Spa. A shuttle is provided for guests to take you from the villas to the resort. Jetski, kayak, banana boat and wakeboarding rides are available for water sports enthusiasts. Just asked them what water activities you can avail for free when you check in! There is also an option to get a free shuttle tour of Vigan City.
