One of the things I’ve always wanted for my home is a bar cart. Sure, it started out as simply a functional piece for small space dwellers but it has now become a statement piece of the home.

If you love to entertain like I do, consider getting a bar cart. It can serve as a drink station or as a serving trolley for dinner parties.

Unfortunately, those cool looking modern bar carts can cost an arm and a leg and it’s really hard to find affordable ones in Manila.

The first trolley I ever bought is this Ikea bygel trolley. I bought it from an online seller who’s based in Singapore and she had it shipped all the way from there.

 

 

 

 

The Ikea bygel trolley only comes in white color and galvanized steel. Before I assembled it, I spray painted the steel in gold.

So here it is, it’s just perfect right next to my bookcase.

I arranged some small plates for snacks. I also added beer mugs and wine glasses, a small cake stand, paper straws and candles. The trolley also came with a drawer so it’s perfect for keeping some drink stirrers, napkins and other stuff. The top shelf is also reversible and can be used as a tray.

You can also use it as an extension of your kitchen.

 

The second bar cart I bought was this Treshold bar cart. In fact I bought two of these but decided to resell them at my online shop.

Just a week ago I found these gorgeous bar carts at affordable prices at an online store that’s based in Manila.
