As mentioned in my previous post, this hotel came highly recommended by a coworker because of its location. If shopping is one of your main objectives, then I strongly recommend staying in Myeongdong (one of the 4 shopping streets in Seoul.) There are many hotels in Myeongdong at different price ranges. I like J Hill Hotel for its value for money and for its very convenient location- right in the heart of  the Myeongdong shopping district.

The main lobby is located on the 13th floor of the building. 

 

Our room was located on the 10th floor. The hallway had a pleasant smell.

 

 

The heated toilet seat was a plus since it was cold. The bathroom was bigger than I expected since most bathrooms I found online were small with the shower being attached to the sink.

 

 

I booked a twin bedroom because it was cheaper and I thought it would be more comfortable than sharing a double bed.

 

 

Elevator, business center, concierge, safety deposit boxes are just some of the facilities on offer. Non smoking rooms, shower, internet access – LAN, complimentary bottled water, coffee/tea maker can be found in each guestroom. 

I was doubtful at first because some review says the rooms were too small and that their luggages could not even fit. Despite the rooms being small, I was ok with it. We had everything we need. The room was very cozy.  I was also glad that we get to control the air conditioning.  

 We had a complimentary buffet breakfast. The food was ok. 

  

           

 
 

What we love most about this hotel is the rooftop located on the 14th floor. There’s also a coin laundry on this floor.

  

  

 

You get a view of the Seoul Tower which is a walking distrance from the hotel.
